Master Founder Skills Now with Skills for Startups.

The Mission

Most startups die because they build something nobody wants.

As founders, we fall in love with the vision getting from "Zero to One." But we often underestimate the journey from "One to Ten." That is the messy, unglamorous phase where you have to establish supply chains, manage cash flow, navigate regulations, and lead a growing team.

Skills for Startups exists to bridge that gap.

This is not a space for "hustle culture" motivation or generic business platitudes. In fact, I started this project because I was sick and tired of hearing the same tired motivational phrases from so-called "gurus" that never helped me.

Instead, Skills for Startups is a repository of real interviews with business experts, giving startup founders practical, operational frameworks designed to help them make the best decisions.

Why This Matters

I believe that the skills required to start a company are fundamentally different from the skills required to run one.

  • Starting requires optimism, risk-tolerance, and speed.
  • Running requires skepticism, risk-management, and systems.

My goal is to teach founders the latter. Whether you are building a SaaS platform, a biotech firm, or a consumer brand, the physics of business remain the same. You need actionable strategies that work for your own unique situation.

Skills for Startups is the operational playbook I wish I had when I started.

What You Can Expect

If you listen to the podcast, read the blog or the guides, you will get:

  • No Fluff: I respect your time. We get straight to the point.
  • Industry-Agnostic Principles: While my lens is often through MedTech, my goal is to tailor the lessons on leadership and operations to apply to any founder.
  • Actionable Steps: Every piece of content ends with something you can do today to improve your business.

Let’s get to work!
